Raising awareness is all about communication in a way that reflects the values and the information the organization is trying to impart in a way that the audience resonates with. This City of Hope video does it right.

Most of the media out there for cancer tends to be of the ‘here I am, pity me’ nature. This one tells a story that gets the audience to want to act. Seeing the difference one person makes even though half way around the world, a loving family doing everything they can for their child and a kid who is ticking things off his to-do list including meeting his donor – not going to Disneyland but meeting his donor. Impossible not to empathize.
